The MTN6502-0101 from the Schneider Electric SpaceLogic KNX series is a professional USB interface designed to connect between the KNX bus and programming or diagnostic devices. The device operates via a galvanically isolated USB Type C connector and supports USB 2.0 standards. Suitable for DIN rail (TH35) mounting, it is only 1 module (approx. 18 mm) wide and is made of polycarbonate (PC) material in RAL 9003 white with a glossy finish. Drawing 3 mA current from the KNX bus, the device supports the KNX Secure secure communication protocol and KNX Long Frame telegrams. Long Frame support enables faster data upload on compatible target devices (e.g. MTN6725-0001). Compatible with ETS 4 or later, the interface is locally programmed with a physical address, so there is no external programming button. Device status can be monitored via 2 LEDs on the front panel. With IP20 protection class, the unit has a wide operating temperature range from -25°C to +70°C and a relative humidity tolerance of %5-93.
