This product bridges the KNX bus and the DALI bus, allowing lights with DALI ECG to be integrated into an overall KNX architecture. The device converts switch and dim commands from the connected KNX system to DALI telegrams and from the DALI bus to KNX telegrams.
ECGs can be switched on, dimmed and set a defined governor in 16 groups per gateway. In addition to group control, the Gateway offers the possibility to control up to 64 ECGs individually. Numerous communication objects are available for visualization of status and error information on an ECG as well as status and error information on Group and Gate-Path Level.
Schneider Electric MTN6725-0001 SpaceLogic KNX DALI Gateway (REG-K/1/16(64)/64/IP1) is a category I controller that acts as a bridge between the KNX bus system and the DALI bus. It works as a Single-Master Controller compliant with EN 62386 ed/1 and ed/2 standard and can control DALI ECG ed/1 and ed/2 devices in combination; however, it does not support DALI-2 sensors (motion/presence detectors, switches, etc.).
With the integrated DALI power supply, the device can switch and dim up to 64 electronic ballasts (EB) in 16 groups and 16 scenes. The DALI output is DC 16-18 V (basic isolation, not SELV) via D+/D-, short circuit protected up to 128 mA. The supply voltage is AC/DC 100-240 V, 50/60 Hz.
Thanks to the integrated HTTP web server, commissioning, configuration and monitoring can be done via LAN network with PC, PDA or web panel. WLAN adapter support is also available. Two separate user profiles and password protection. With 16 effects and up to 500 total commands, the effect module provides integrated color control with up to 16 templates and 300 commands.
KNX software functions include switching, dimmer, ladder timer, status objects, detailed error messages per EB, emergency lighting test, operating hours counter and auto burn-in. Supports normal, persistent, night and panic modes.
TH35 DIN rail mounted in accordance with EN 60715 standard. Its dimensions are 8.3 × 12.8 × 15.9 cm with a width of 4 DIN modules. Weight 269 g, protection class IP20. Interfaces: KNX, Ethernet RJ-45, DALI. The warranty period is 18 months.
