Product Description
MTN663991 KNX Brightness and Temperature Sensor is the ideal solution for seamless integration into building automation systems. The KNX standard and energy-saving features make it the perfect choice for engineers and system integrators.
The Schneider Electric MTN663991 is a brightness and temperature sensor suitable for exterior mounting, offered within the SpaceLogic KNX product series. The device transmits brightness and temperature values to the system via the KNX bus protocol and is equipped with an integrated bus connection unit (BCU). Bus connection is made via a bus connection terminal. The sensor has a temperature measurement range of -25°C to +55°C (±%5 or ±1 degree accuracy). The brightness measurement range is between 1 and 100,000 lux (± or ±5 lux accuracy). The device houses two sensors. The MTN663991 has 3 universal channels that can be used for single tasks or logic operations. Temperature and brightness threshold values can be set in any combination. A sun protection channel allows for the control of blinds and roller blinds. Twilight threshold, brightness threshold, drive control, automatic sun function, teaching, and safety objects are available. The automatic sun protection function automatically controls the blinds throughout the day. Each brightness threshold can be readjusted with a single button using the control panel. The device has a current consumption of 5 mA and a maximum power consumption of 150 mW. Its dimensions are 110 x 72 x 54 mm, and it is a surface-mounted type. According to DIN EN 60529 standard, it has an IP54 protection class for vertical mounting with a cover. It is light grey (RAL 7035) and weighs 156 g. The product is of German origin and comes with an 18-month warranty.
