The SpaceLogic STP500 series are immersion temperature sensors and are designed for immersion installation in piping systems with no pockets/wells required The STP500-50 comes with a 50 mm long probe.
The Schneider Electric SpaceLogic STP500-50 (SKU: 5123170010) is a temperature sensor designed for direct immersion installation in piping systems without the need for pockets/sleeves. Compatible with the Andover Continuum system, this sensor is ideal for temperature measurement in HVAC pipelines in mechanical installation rooms.
The sensor has an NTC (10 kOhm T3) thermistor probe type with a value of 10,000 Ohms at 25 °C. Providing analog output, it offers ±0.3 °C measurement accuracy over a range of 0...25 °C. The probe length is 50 mm and optimized for pipe immersion applications.
The junction box is made of polyamide (PA) and the immersion tube is made of stainless steel. With IP65 protection class, the sensor can be safely used in harsh installation room conditions. The device dimensions are 65 mm (width) x 84 mm (height) x 44 mm (depth) and weighs only 0.1 kg.
Wiring is made with AWG 24 to AWG 18 wire. The time constant values vary according to the installation conditions: 19,000 ms for brass PN 16 with contact sealant, 20,000 ms for stainless steel PN 25 with contact sealant, 23,000 ms for brass PN 16 without contact sealant and 24,000 ms for stainless steel PN 25 without contact sealant.
The product is CE certified and complies with EN 50081-1 and EN 50082-2 standards. It is offered by Schneider Electric with a 24-month warranty. It is designed for Asia Pacific and Europe regions.
